Energy Drinks Give Boost but can have Undesirable Side Effects, Response.

This website was very useful. I didn't know that there were other ingredients in the drinks that were like caffeine and had the same effects as caffeine does. I think that there are other ingredients that people should be researching and putting warnings on, not just caffeine. I also didn't really know that the drinks made you stronger at times, like it said that it increases upper body strength, but I can't see how.

This webpage contains information including, that these drinks allow you to function on less sleep then your supposed to. These drinks enlarge their market by advertising to student athletes. They are proven to give you upper body strength, but in the long run, they dehydrate you. There are other energy boosing ingredients besides caffeine which are, ephedrine, taurine and guarana and they are all common to each other. They can be found in decongestants, and they can lead to heart problems. Energy drinks also add the the alertness of a person.
